This product has been designed to stabilize the ankle with instable medial and lateral ligaments. It also functions well aganist edema. It is made of dual laminated neoprene interiorly and exteriorly with jersey. The neoprene has perforation which reduces excessive perspiration without losing body temprature. The elastic bandages that come with the product help to provide extra support to the ankle. The rigid plastic stabilizers in the inside provide a stronger support to the malleolar area. The zipper closure allows patients with swollen feet to put on the product more easily.
