The IDS-iSYS InaKtif MGP (dp-ucMGP) assay is an in vitro diagnostic device intended for the quantitative determination of the inactive dephosphorylated-uncarboxylated (dp-uc) isoform of Matrix Gla-Protein (MGP) in human plasma on the IDS system. Results are to be used in conjunction with other clinical and laboratory data to assist the clinician in the assessment of vitamin K status in the arterial vessel wall. A rise of the dephosphorylated-uncarboxylated form of MGP (dp-ucMGP) reflects a vitamin K deficiency in the arterial vessel wall
