Additional Description
DANA 3cc Syringe, a disposable reservoir to be set up inside of DANA Insulin Infusion Pumps, is intended to store insulin for up to 72 hours and to release insulin through DANA Infusion Sets at the rate set by the insulin pump. Briefly, one side of this syringe is connected to the motor of the insulin pump through the linking screw which rotates to generate a linear movement of the plunger of the syringe to release insuin. The other side of this syringe is connected to the cannula of DANA Infusion Sets through which insulin is eventually delivered into the subcutaneous tissue.
