The system with the trade name Mobile Monitor Cart System (MMCS) is shown in the figure below. The Remote Control Panel of medPhoton’s mobile ImagingRing (IRm, Loop-X) can be docked to the system to be used as a mobile work- and charging-station. The system is available in different configurations (with/without battery) described in this manual, variations of the configuration are possible according to specific customer needs.

The Mobile Monitor Cart System (MMCS) is intended to be used in conjunction with medPhoton’s medical X-ray imaging devices, such as the mobile ImagingRing (IRm, Loop-X), the rail mounted ImagingRing (IRr) or table mounted ImagingRing (IRt). Its purpose is to display medical images, such as planar, fluoroscopic or 3D (CB)CT data of medPhoton’s imaging devices as well as imported images from other modalities on a larger screen. It provides a wireless connection to medPhoton’s imaging devices, to display images for review at a separate location, in or outside the room where the imaging device is located. The system is intended for use in healthcare facilities in general and near patients, also in operating rooms (ORs). The Mobile Monitor Cart System can be used to attach and move medical equipment likemedPhoton’s Remote Control Panel within the building, e.g. to enable control image acquisitions from safe, radiation protected areas, or it can be used in close proximity to the patient, in the same room as medPhoton's imaging device, e.g. during interventions with fluoroscopy.
