Bei Sponstim handelt es sich um Schwammelektroden für die transkranielle Stimulation. Diese sind mit zwei unterschiedlichen Durchmessern verfügbar. Das kleine Modell mit einer Kontaktfläche von 8 cm² eignet sich ideal für Stimulationsanwendungen. Das große Modell mit einer Fläche von 25 cm² empfiehlt sich wiederum für bipolare Anwendungen (anodisch oder kathodisch). Die Sponstim-Elektroden sind mit Kochsalzlösung zu verwenden und nicht mit Kontaktgel.
