Additional Description
This kit is suitable for in vitro quantitative detection of β2 microglobulin (β2-MG) concentration in human serum, whole blood, plasma and urine samples. β2 microglobulin is a β light chain of human leukocyte antigen molecules. Its main function is to participate in the surface recognition of lymphocytes and is related to the hand-carrying of killer cells. Almost all nucleated cells in the body can synthesize β2 microglobulin and attach to the cell surface. The daily amount of β2 microglobulin produced by the same individual remains constant and is secreted in various body fluids. The determination of β2 microglobulin in blood, urine and cerebrospinal fluid is of great significance for the diagnosis of many diseases.
