The Zika Virus Real Time PCR Kit is intended for the in vitro qualitative detection of Zika Virus RNA in clinical specimens, including human whole blood, serum, amniotic fluid, urine and cerebro-spinal fluid (CSF) from individuals meeting Zika virus clinical and/or epidemiological criteria. The function of the assay is for the diagnosis or aid for diagnosis. The use of RT-PCR method shortens the testing window, which is conducive to earlier identification and treatment of infection.
