The Dengue Virus (DENV) Lyo RT-PCR Kit is used for the qualitative detection of dengue virus in serum specimen collected from patients with signs and symptoms consistent with dengue by using real time RT-PCR systems. Primer and probes of the Dengue Virus (DENV) Lyo RT-PCR Kit are based on current sequence alignments of all four dengue virus serotypes (1 – 4), allowing the RNA detection (screening) of but not the differentiation (typing) between those serotypes.
